About Karmyn Nicole
A native of Atlanta Georgia, from a young age my family would catch me dancing to the rhythm of any song they'd play. Soon enough I began to study the technique of ballet at the age of 12 and expanded to other techniques such as Modern, West African, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Tap as time went on. Performing and being on stage is a feeling like none other, it's where MY voice is heard. Everyday I strive to celebrate my gift and celebrate those around me that encourage me to be all that I can be.
I've spent much of my primary education attending DeKalb School of the Arts, and was fortunate enough to continue my dance training at The Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Training with some of the best dance scientists, movement analysts, and instructors of dance technique, I've been blessed with a set of tools that will allow me to contribute to and excel in the arts and entertainment industry.
I'm encouraged by the words, "Believe that you can, and you will." I continue to push myself to grow in my craft, and disregard where I think my capabilities end. Each day I'm enchanted by the constant discoveries of how strong I really am. As I pursue my professional career, I take love and faith as my superpowers, and look forward to my constant collaborations with artists and glean all that I can. I dedicate my career to Melody Norwood Moton, my mother and guardian angel. Stay tuned and Go Noles!
